Accepted methods of payment for disaster preparedness kits and all other items: We accept PayPal and all major credit/debit cards through PayPal, Visa and Mastercard, etc. Note: You do not need a PayPal account to make a secure credit/debit card payment. We also accept personal checks made out to "The Berteloot Company", our parent company. Payments made through PayPal's FREE and secured service will show up on your statements as PAYPAL*BERTELOOTCO or PAYPAL*THEBERTELOOTCOMPANY.

Shipping time for disaster supplies and disaster preparedness kits. The time needed to ship merchandise will vary depending on the shipment's location and the particular time of year. Typical shipping time a customer should expect is 7-10 business days.
Product Options and choices. Merchandise often times has various options including but not limited to sizes, colors,upgrades, etc. It is the customers responsibility to make their selections at the time of sale. Should the customer fail to do so SafetyHelp.org will attempt to contact the customer by phone once and email once with the contact information provided by the customer. Should their be no response within 48 hours the most popular or pictured options will be used. This excludes options/upgrades for which the customer has not paid. The selections/choices will be up to the sole judgment of SafetyHelp.org. Some options require an additional fee. These options, for which there is an additional fee, will not be selected by SafetyHelp.org should the customer have not paid for them at the time of checkout.
Shipping Methods for disaster supplies and natural disaster kits. Merchandise will be shipped using Ground Service where possible. In addition, some items may be shipped directly from the manufacturer to customers. For this reason products may arrive in different containers on different days.
Damaged shipments of purchased items from SafetyHelp.org. Damaged shipments from handling must be claimed with the freight carrier. If any cartons are missing or damaged, be sure to note this on the freight bill. If you notice concealed damage after the driver has left, keep all the packing and call the freight carrier to return and inspect the damage and file a claim. We are not responsible for damage caused by the freight carrier.
Manufacturers defects on disaster kits and disaster preparedness supplies. If a product appears to have a manufacture’s defect, email our Customer Service department for instructions. Do not return products without first contacting us to receive instructions. If an item is to be returned due to manufactures defect, you must first receive a Return Authorization Number. No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the package.
Once a return is authorized for your natural disaster preparedness kits and disaster supplies by our return department you should:
1. Return the item to the address given to you by our return department.
2. Write the Return Authorization Number clearly on the box or package.
3. Keep your shipping records for proof of shipment in the event of loss of returned merchandise. Returns shipped via U.S. Postal Service (U.S.P.S.) or with a value of over $100.00 should be insured. We can not be held liable for return merchandise that does not reach our return department.
We can refund shipping costs on products purchased from this site only if the return is a result of our error. You are responsible for all freight charges on shipments that are refused or returned with no fault on our part. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages or losses to defective products, errors in shipping your order, or other errors. The limit of our liability is the replacement cost of any item you purchase from us. You are responsible for shipping costs on all exchanges, credits and returns.
Return time will vary depending upon the manufacturer.
